Xizili Art Hotel (Hangzhou Qingchun Road Branch) is an internet famous hotel located in the bustling urban area of Hangzhou. This base was originally a bustling area in the old city of Hangzhou, and we hope to implant a new and old integrated 'city homestay' here as a spiritual carrier carrying the memory of Hangzhou city. The relationship between architecture and the surrounding environment is the main narrative of this hotel. The hotel was renovated on the basis of an old building full of a sense of the times. While preserving the exterior facade of the original building on a large scale, we implanted courtyard functions on the first floor outdoor and the third floor roof respectively, breaking tradition and integrating coffee into the lobby bar. People who come here can hold a cup of coffee, read on the sofa, meditate at the bar, or chat in the courtyard for three or five hours, enjoying a comfortable and relaxed experience. The guest room continues the simple and lazy tone of the public area, creating a peaceful atmosphere amidst the hustle and bustle. Outside the bustling city, inside the peaceful window, after a peaceful night, the morning sun shines through the window into the room, holding a cup of green tea and feeling the traces of the changes in time in the old city outside the window. The restaurant is located on the second floor, and while retaining the original framework, we have also reshaped the spatial relationship, using a large area of natural stone skin in earthy colors as the main tone, which is introverted and inclusive. Here, we can relieve fatigue, enjoy breakfast quietly, and simplify the diverse lifestyle. Peace of mind is the place of return. In the sound, light, and shadow of Hangzhou city, the same story from ancient times to the present still plays out in this city.
